My daughter and I flew in from Michigan to Newark airport. WE had no idea what to expect, except this property was recommened on the Rutgers parent page. I will say this property is a great location. I was told by our Uber driver that it is fairly safe. WE found that during the day on Wednesday when we arrived that security and police were present everywhere, however that was perfect. At night the area had outdoor dining and live music. It was pretty cool. When we were in the room, it was a good size for two girls. The beds were pretty comfortable etc. WE never ate on the property because there are so many other places to eat. Our goal was to travel back and forth to the BUSCH campus at Rutgers. That is for sure an UBER drive, just be aware. It is a pretty close Uber drive. WE found that it was about $10 to travel there, and about $16 to return. Not sure why that it is, maybe time of day etc. We were there for student orientation. It was sooooo hot outside. If pondering whether or not to rent a car. If I could do it over, I would have rented a car. I think there is a lot to see. We did try the electric scooters that was fun. This property is about a block from the Hyatt. Both areas have a lot of dining options. We walked a lot!

The location is really good for visiting Rutgers University. There is a ton of things to do and see and restaurants to visit on George Street. Dunkin Donuts is located right across the street, and you are a short walk away from the train station. The lady who cleaned our room was AMAZING! The University of Michigan men's basketball team stayed in our hotel. WE hared an elevator with the head coach Dusty and a bunch of players. It was a cool experience since we are Michigan fans and our daughter is an athlete for Rutgers!

I have stayed here twice. It’s lovely. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. (I stayed here 3 years ago for a wedding and again just this past weekend.) It’s within walking distance to many restaurants. It is right across the street from the State Theater and NBPAC. it is also very close to Rutgers University. They have valet parking, on site restaurant, bar and spa! (Unfortunately, the pool was closed this weekend.) I highly recommend this hotel!!

Started with Valet absolutely fantastic attitude and Great personality, Check In was seamless. Again the Front Counter Person Great Personality, Then We got to the Room. WOW!! Over the Top Room king size bed, To a full on living room, Dining room, Kitchen area, Second bathroom. What a shame My Wife and I where just passing through. We are traveling across the country. Stayed in few big name Hotels. You put those places to Shame. Very Enjoyable. We will be back

Very good hotel in a convenient location close to the train station. Clean and comfortable rooms. The only thing that made the impression worse was that my booking said there was breakfast included when in reality they only serve buffet breakfast on particular days AND it’s $20+ per person (so not included in the price). Other than that, everything was fine.
